Ski chalets are a unique type of luxury home. Our creative, client-focused design concepts are driven by the principles of comfort, usability, style and pure luxury.
As architectural interior designers and project managers, with extensive technical build knowledge, these concepts are integrated into the heart of the design and build process, not tacked on at the end as is often the interior design way.
Design
Studioʰ ‘s design philosophy focuses on thorough and thoughtful end-to-end design. Combining beauty and practicality is crucial to the sucess of our projects.
Studioʰ chalets are loved by our clients, not only for their striking design features and how they optimise the stunning views and daylight, but because the layouts and flow really work for their specifc, differing needs.
Space
From meticulous , detailed orientated design of the functional elements of storage for ski rooms and linen, to the more tantalising design options around wine cellars, staircases and luxurious spa areas. Space planning is our specialty.
Designing chalets that have a comfortable flow - with ample space for relaxation and entertaining, as well as accommodating the endless paraphernalia associated with mountain sports - is what drives Studioʰ ‘s design process.
Analysis
Our approach encapsulates every important detail of how a chalet will look but, just as importantly, how it will be used. Analysing a client’s requirements and translating these into the build ‘production detail’ is a task where attention to detail is critical.
Excellent design is not just about striking aesthetics. The opportunities to use the most appropriate building techniques, ensure the highest build quality and leverage the right in-home technology and lighting can transform a chalet.
Collaboration
Studioʰ collaborates with our clients to understand their tastes and preferences and to delve deeper into how they plan to live in their chalet both in summer and winter.
Our dedicated in-house design and delivery team brings together a range of specialist, independent collaborators, specifically selected for their particular skills - from engineers to artisans - to carefully execute each project. No client or project is ever the same and our combined skillsets are adapted accordingly.
Execution
Our technical knowledge and delivery experience sets us apart. These skills enable us to marry design flare with a deep understanding of how all aspects of the build and technical services need to be executed.
The level of project oversight ensured by Studioʰ during the construction phase, provides great reassurance to our clients and ensures a level of build and finishing quality control that is sorely lacking amongst many of our competitors.
